Backup your data for future use

By backing up your project, you make sure it's always possible to bring it back into Omics Studio later. This is important for keeping your data safe and usable over time.

When to use: Perfect for when you’re stepping away from Omics Studio but plan to come back. Your data will be safely stored, ready for you to pick up right where you left off.

Backup your data with these steps:

1. Navigate to the Data Loading page.
2. Click the Save data backup button to start the download.

3. Copy the provided password needed to access the file.
4. Store the password securely, such as in a Notepad file.
5. Protect both the downloaded zip file and the password carefully.

⚠️ When you create a data backup with Omics Studio, please remember:

• Storage responsibility: You must securely store the backup zip file and its associated password. These are essential for accessing your backed-up data in the future.
• No recovery option: Omics Studio does not keep a copy of your zip file or password. If these are lost, we cannot recover your data.
