Selecting identifiers for your data Pathway graph

Depending on experience there may be different preferences towards identifiers. Omics Studio allows for using different identifiers to ensure you reconise the molecules of interest whether you are working primary in Transcriptomics or Proteomics.

Available identifier options

• Gene Name Choosing the gene name, this option allows you to view and analyze data using the standard gene nomenclature. It simplifies the correlation of omics data with genetic information, facilitating easier interpretation and cross-referencing of results across various databases and studies.

• UniprotID Selecting the UniprotID as your identifier provides direct access to protein-specific information. This identifier links your data to the comprehensive Uniprot database, which offers detailed insights into protein structure, function, and interactions.
